Having a small space-saving desk is wonderful because, well, it saves space. Space, after all, is a commodity that not all of us can have in this age. Below are the 5 desks that both save space and save your wallet while you are at it:
A convertible folded floating desk is where it is at
Folded, the thing would look like a wall cabinet. Unfolded, the thing would look like a handy small desk that you can work on. This is a desk made for writing and small chairs. Good for people who want to have a desk that is not space-consuming at all. The thing is called a floating desk because it looks like it is floating. It might not entirely float, but it gets pretty close, so why not?
On the side of this floating desk are a handy storage area that one can use to store small letters, stationaries, and a lot other document thingies. You can place it in a lot of rooms, but it would not probably fit bathroom laundry room ideas (does not stop you from trying, though). Its neutral colour will suit the paint colours for hallways and stairs and many other neutral-coloured objects, too.
This corner desk is also a nice thing to have
A corner of a room is possibly the most awkward place to place anything ever. A mid-century modern kitchen would have a kitchen counter on the corner, but even then the thing would look pretty awkward. Not many things can accommodate the awkwardness of a corner, but this corner desk is a bit different than others.
This desk is small and it corners, perfect for those empty corners that you do not know what you should fill with. It comes with shelves, too, which is good if you are planning to store something in it. Just remember that this thing will only be perfect if you put it on a corner. Putting it somewhere else would make this the weirdest thing ever in your house.
A wall mounted desk is handy and saves a lot of space
A wall mounted desk is tiny, but it serves wonderfully as a desk. It is a bit broader than any desk available here (which is somewhat paradoxical because this desk is the one that requires the smallest space) and it looks pretty modern, too. Perfect for millennials or for those wanting to have an obscure desk.
If a corner desk is not enough, why not a corner desk that floats?
An exemplary of space saving. Not only this desk takes the corner, it also floats, leaving you another space just below it. Elegant, simple, and definitely saves space. The only drawback of this thing is the fact that this will not fit in any other room aside from an office or a workspace. A living room would look hideous with this near it.
Folding laptop desk, enough said
We got a folding desk up top. But what about a folding desk specifically designed to work as a very compact workspace. While the aforementioned desk is not too space-saving because it is somewhat tall, this one is shorter and more compact than the first one. Truly a small space-saving desk that any space-deprived would love to have.
